The Pegasus Memorial is located just steps away from the Caen Canal and the iconic Pegasus Bridge, in the town of Ranville. Its address is:
1 avenue du Major Howard
14860 Ranville
Ideally located between Caen and Ouistreham, the museum is easily accessible by several means:
By bicycle:
Stop at Pegasus Bridge on the greenway between Caen and Ouistreham. Cross the bridge and take the first left.
A bicycle parking area is located opposite the museum entrance. Don’t forget to mention that you came by bike to benefit from the low-carbon discount: €1 off the entrance fee for each adult arriving by bicycle.
By car:
From Caen, take the D515 and exit toward Bénouville. At the roundabout, take the second exit, cross the bridge, then take the first left toward the museum.
From Ouistreham, take the D515 and exit toward Bénouville. At the roundabout, take the second exit, cross the bridge, then take the first left toward the museum.
By bus:
Take line 12 and get off at the Pegasus Bridge stop in Bénouville. At the roundabout, take the first exit, walk towards the current Pegasus Bridge and cross it. Then take the first left; the museum is a little further on the right.
Electric vehicles:
Charging stations are available 500 and 700 meters from the museum. The first is located near the Bénouville town hall. The second is a few meters further along the D35—pass La Glycine restaurant and Manoir Hastings, and the charging stations will be on your right.
